A line in the sand

Here's a picture Moshe took on his ambitious flight on Thursday, showing him about to cross the finish line. You'd think that from that height, he would have made it!

Is that a contrail shadow? Never seen that before.

Yes it's a contrail shadow, was a rather sharp one, that showed up in the haze as well as on the ground. Sorry I didn't have a better camera. And I took it on Friday, at half the altitude I had when close to the task goal on Thursday. The thermal (?) I got North of the Carter Range took me to the highest I've ever gotten in a thermal, about 11,400 MSL. An advantage of "blue" days? Alas there was also lots of sink shortly thereafter.

Definitely a chemtrail. You can't prove it isn't, can you?
