Winter flying is 'easy'? I'm flying to FL in the AM, but I would love a flight in the Cub before winter is over! DDC
Rick, maybe you should look into a AAA membership for that plane.
You should turn that J3 into a tri-motorOne engine under each wing, both pointing down plus whatever that twin-bladed butter knife is on the front & you'll be fine.
I keep telling you to drink only lite beer before flying. Never load up on Guinness before flight!
Snow shoveling to get what you need done, looks like normal VT winter to me.
Hey Andy - your not leaning on the shovel correctly and where is the clipboard?
The guy leaning on the shovel is the AAA guy. He looks a little like Andy, though.
More like AARP...for the plane AND both guys. BTW, Problem is bad weight distribution caused by prop pointing straight down. Turn it horizontal...
That's only true for props that spin. On old airplanes the propeller actually flaps.
...with so much hot air, it'll be Spring before ya know it.
