No, I believe that is Mark Twain "Riverboat Pilot"
Must be that new European method of adding water ballast to a sailplane. I read somewhere it could be done with as few as 8 people.

Paul wins the no-prize. It is indeed John Good. No one asked, but he and the glider are both OK.
Splashdown occurred 3 miles from the runway at Chilhowee.
