Having to look at such skies while waiting for the retrieve makes it that much more painful...

Up at Morrisville yesterday most nice clouds had no lift, or only a very small and hard-to-find working core surrounded by sink. And between the cloud streets there was a LOT of sink. With cloudbase at only 6000, just jumping to the next street often meant falling down to 4500.

thanks to Andy Lawrence for retrieving me , I couldn't ask for a better field at this time of year but be careful landing there at full crop times. it is Sudan Grass and grows up to 6 feet high or better.
