VT is great for glider friendly state airports in sinkholes. Rutland, Montpelier, Bennington and Springfield, you should visit them all! (maybe omit Burlington)

Lebanon is in NH but serves the same purpose. And I've also visited North Conway, alas after there was no longer an airport there - turned into a (now defunct?) shopping mall.
