Geez, you coulda let me know, huh? Rick, North & I coulda banged the 1-23 together (or, if North was busy) I coulda taken the 2-33 and done 16.7 km @ 1,250 ft and likely missed dinner (in December). Next time huh? Call me!
OK Tim, that would put my launch coordinates 6 nm ENE of Lake Placid (LKP). Etd 12:45 pm. In the 1-23 w/ 3-independentlly deployable 4.5-ft-diameter drag shoots (different colors, of course) w/ freshly installed-enhanced - oversized spoilers and empange-mounted dive brakes. Optional inflatable wing floats & a short paddle would be considered requisite at most glider clubs. The van is ready, fully fueled and equipped~ Let me know when the ground/water crew is in place. PS I have the English to Bah-Hahbuh phrase book stowed in my flight bag. Awesome way to end season two.
