Alexander is back in Norwich after spending the winter in California. While he was there, he picked up an ASEL rating in just four weeks, in this Citabria:

Congratulations, Alexander!

Winter flying used to be fun

Here's a reminder of another day the Cub had a small issue with starting. I'm having trouble remembering the year.

Nancy bribed me to post this. I sure can't wait till we can talk about flying gliders again.

25 below

Here's a satellite photo from January 24, 2011 - which, if we're lucky, will turn out to be the coldest day of the year.

Click here for the big version and see if you can spot Gordon tossing the cup of hot water into the air.

The cloudstreets over the Atlantic are really cool, too.

AGM

1. A Grand Meal

As usual, the highlight of the breakfast season occurred at the LumRuss Diner at our annual mid-February gathering. It was nice to see everybody:
Andrew, Andy, Andy, Annie, Bill, Christopher, Jane, Judy, Laurie, Lynn, Marsha, Mike, Moshe, Paul, Paul, Rick, Rich, Skip, Sue, Sue, Thomas, Tim
all of whom enjoyed the food and hospitality we've come to rely on this time of year. Thanks, Judy and Andy.

2. Annual General Meeting

A hardy subset of the above enjoyed the AGM, which featured a lively debate about the future of the club. We have a new Secretary, a new Treasurer, and a renewed dedication to providing the right set of services for the foreseeable future. Read the minutes and think about what you can do to make our club even better this year.
